JIL Mission, Vision, and Core Values

MISSION

“To bring all peoples to the kingdom of the Living God regardless of race, color, nationality, and religious affiliation through the saving, healing, and delivering knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
 - The JILCW is a church whose reason for existence is to bring all peoples – regardless of color, status or creed – to the Lord Jesus Christ that through the redeemed life that is not just saved but also healed and delivered, they may be brought to the kingdom of the Living God.

 VISION

“A Glorious Church evangelizing and discipling Filipinos and all the peoples of the world through teaching, preaching and living-out the full Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.”
 - The JILCW is a church whose greatest/utmost pledge is to become a glorious church whose life blood is to evangelize and disciple through the no-nonsense teaching, preaching and living out of the full gospel of the incarnation, life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

CORE VALUES
Passionate Love for God
- Passionate love for God is the life-altering conviction of an individual to irrevocably commit himself to wholeheartedly distinguishing and surrendering to God’s will in his life.  Such conviction is founded on the justified knowledge from continued study of God’s character that compels a life that is lived out only for His glory.

Love and Compassion for Others
- Love and compassion for others is the honed ability of an individual to identify with other people’s humanity and equal merit in the eyes of God and man that, in turn, prompts a conscious will to both identify, aid and nurture both the needs and weaknesses as well as the potentials and capabilities of others using available physical, intellectual and social resources.

Integrity
- Integrity is the drilled uprightness of character of an individual in private and public life through the uncompromised principle of upholding truth, transparency and consistency in word and in action.  This ingrained uprightness results in a character resilient to corruption, poverty, violence and immorality.

Faithfulness
- Faithfulness is the individual’s resolved commitment of fidelity to consistency between actual daily living and the principles of devotion to one’s calling, to the pureness of one’s thoughts, to the sincerity of one’s words and to the genuineness of one’s actions before God and man.

Excellence
- Excellence is the successful conditioning of an individual to the achievement of exceptional merit in body, in mind and in character that is the direct result of the dedication to the exercise of the body, to the attainment of wisdom and to the discipline of uprightness in public and in private life.

JIL Church Worldwide Declaration of Principles and Values

JILCW Doctrinal and Ministerial Distinctive

- The JILCW  adheres to the evangelical, full-gospel (Pentecostal-charismatic) distinctives in doctrine, ministry and experience.  We affirm the Laussane Covenant of 1974, the Manila Manifesto of 1989 and the historic creeds of Christianity especially the apostles’ and Nicene Creed.

The Church as Agent of Evangelism and Transformation
- We hold that the Church is central in God’s redemptive plan on this earth and it is God’s agent for evangelism and transformation.  The JIL Church Worldwide recognizes the urgency of this task and is committed to take the whole Gospel to the whole world until the Great Commission is fulfilled.

Discipleship and Training
- The Church is called upon not only to evangelize the lost but also to disciple and equip believers for effective and fruitful service.  JIL Church Worldwide shall provide various training programs where by the Spirit, through the Word, and the five-fold ascension gifts in Ephesians 4, the members are prepared to function in their grace and giftings.

Priority of worship
- JIL Church Worldwide recognizes worship as the priority ministry of all believers and through the life – nourishing power of worship flows out evangelism and other ministries.  Therefore, JIL Church Worldwide shall equip its members to live a lifestyle of worship.

The Authority of the Bible
- The Bible is God’s Word and we acknowledge its absolute authority upon our lives and the Church.  JIL Church Worldwide shall endeavor to pattern all its conduct, practices and ministries according to Scriptural principles.

Primacy of Prayer - Intercession
- JIL Church Worldwide  shall equip and release its members to be prayer warriors and intercessors because we believe that through prayer and intercession we top into God’s inexhaustible resources and destroy the works of Satan thereby establishing God’s rulership over all spheres of life and over the nations of the world.

Leadership Integrity
- Every JIL leader and member shall endeavor to live a life pleasing to the Lord and must always conduct himself/herself with purity, integrity and consecration, manifesting the righteousness of God and the fruit of the Spirit.

Ministry Excellence
- JIL Church Worldwide believes that excellence and integrity in the conduct of ministry must be upheld at all times and therefore all JIL pastors and ministry leaders/workers must adhere to a Standard for Leaders and must conform to a Covenant of Ministry Excellence before they are released into ministry.

JIL Membership
- Every JIL member is a vital part in fulfilling the mission and vision of JIL Church.  He shall endeavor to develop and utilize his God-given gifts for His service through the multi-ministries of the Church, faithful attendance of Church activities, prayer and giving of tithes and offerings, and other resources.

Family
- The family, as a covenantal institution ordained by God is the foundation and validation of our ministries; therefore, JIL Church Worldwide is committed to equip families to become strong units of society where each member is functioning according to his/her Biblical role and responsibility.

Marriage
- Marriage is designed by God to be a lifelong and permanent relationship between a man and woman and that divorce and separation are not solutions to marital problems and discord.  JIL Church Worldwide shall always uphold the sanctity of marriage and oppose any attempt to destroy it by any person, group or sector.

Church as Salt and Light
- The Church is called to be salt and light of the earth, therefore JIL Church Worldwide shall endeavor to exert a strong prophetic influence upon the government and the whole nation through socio - political involvement which we be1ieve is part of our Christian duty.

Compassion Ministry
- We believe that the Church is to share God's compassion for the poor, distressed and oppressed.  To this end, JIL Church Worldwide shall establish ministries that shall be concrete expressions of God's love and mercy to the marginalized members of the society.

Stewardship
- We believe that the Church must handle its finances and other resources as good stewards with utmost integrity, according to high ethical monetary practices and always in the manner that honors the Lord.  JIL Church Worldwide recognizes that all tithes and offerings are from God and must always be spent wisely and appropriately for the ministry.

Unity in the Body
- We affirm that the Church of Jesus Christ is only One but with many local congregations; that Jesus is the Chief Shepherd with many undershepherds. JILCW acknowledges that it is only one of the local expressions of the one, universal Church and is committed to work with Christ-centered and Bible-based local churches and Christian organizations to advance God's kingdom in the spirit of unity and mutual recognition of giftings.

13 Declaration of Faith
Wednesday, 29 April 2009 05:07

“Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous deeds among all peoples.
For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise…”
(1Chronicles 16:24,25)

We are truly nothing but dust yet we have been transformed into magnificent robes of splendor by the blood of the Lamb. In the midst of our weaknesses, God bids us to remain and be firm through His strength. Be firm we must. He bids us stand for… “If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.” (Isaiah 7:9)
