“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
1 PETER 5:7 (New Living Translation ©2007)
You carry the world on your shoulders. Everyone looks to you for answers. You always seem to have them.
But in truth, you aren’t really as strong as everybody seems to believe. Who can you turn to? For one reason or another, valid or not, you can’t seem to bring anyone suitable to mind. He’s going through too much… She’s just gotten over something… They might misunderstand…
He’s your Pastor.
For those times when you feel alone in a canteen full of yelling students and food fights… He’s beside you; He’s holding your hand.
For those times when you don’t know who to believe, who to trust any more in that company you thought had your back… You can trust Him; He won’t spill any of your secret hurts and fears.
For those times when you can’t seem to rise above the sea of distress and confusion at home... When it just seems to be problem after problem… His arms are waiting for you; Let Him carry you when your strength is spent and gone.
He’s your Pastor. Give Him all your worries. There is nothing too trivial, too unimportant, too small a detail you can’t share. He won’t belittle you, laugh at you and say, “How silly! You crazy?!”
He’s your Pastor. Give Him all your cares. There is no problem too big, too incomprehensible, too impossible for him to listen to. He won’t judge you, condemn you and declare, “What a waste! And you call yourself a…!”
He’s your Pastor. Call on Him today, tonight. He is waiting.
