At 5:50pm today, we have lost a spiritual mother, a competent teacher, a prayer warrior, and a model of faith. After going through fatal arrhythmia secondary to septic shock, Ate Dory is now resting in the arms of her Maker and Savior. She is now face to face with the God she served all these years, true to the words of St. Paul, “For to me to live is Christ, to die is gain (Philippians 1:21).”
So, sorrowful as we may be, we are immensely grateful to God for our Ate Dory, and for the time we had with her. We are grateful that in her 73 years on earth, our lives collided with her, affecting and influencing us in ways we never would forget.
