In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, (1 Peter 1:3-4, NIV)
Stresses and troubles inevitably come. But even as we experience such, our hope is that suffering is not permanent. There is a day coming when there shall no longer be weeping and crying, no pain or sickness or death. All because the one and only Son of God, Jesus Christ, took on flesh, suffered for our sins, died on the Cross, rose again, and now reigns forevermore. This is our hope. HE is our living hope.
