As human beings, we are wired for social connection. But how do we cope if our cherished relationships fail? Where do we find the strength to love when our trust is shattered, and we’ve been rejected?
We follow Christ’s example (1 John 3:16). He loves us unconditionally, even to the point of giving up His life for us, unworthy sinners as we are (Romans 5:8). In Him, we find the strength to love, to accept, to forgive, to trust, and to endure—even when it’s hard.
