I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;
and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. (John 11:25-26)
We will all die. Our heart will stop to beat. Our breath will be extinguished. Our body will rot.
We will die… but only physically. That is, if we believe in Jesus Christ.
Because if we believe in Jesus Christ, He not only lives in us, He also makes us alive. So even
though our body dies, our soul will not—will never—throughout all eternity. This is our blessed
hope.
